Selected Infringement Examples

This is a work in progress. This post will be updated when posting of examples is complete.

Dr. Andrea Alveshere wrote and published “Chapter 4: Forces of Evolution” in the American Anthropological Association‘s 2019 edition of Explorations: An Open Invitation to Biological Anthropology, available for free download here: https://explorations.americananthro.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Chapter-04.pdf

When Lynne Kelly asked for resources to better understand human evolution for their collaborative book project, Andrea Alveshere pointed her to this resource.

When Lynne Kelly’s 2024 The Knowledge Gene was published, Dr. Alveshere was shocked to find many examples of unapproved and unattributed use of her intellectual property. Some examples include:

Passages from paperback pages 31-33 of Lynne Kelly’s The Knowledge Gene flagged by the Scribbr Self-Plagiarism Checker as potentially plagiarized from Andrea’s published and/or Andrea’s and Lynne’s unpublished, co-authored works (note that Scribbr generally doesn’t flag anything that is not spelled exactly the same, and Australian spellings often differ from U.S. spellings):
